Local code generation

A simple way to get your authentication codes, right in your browser.
2famh turns an existing authenticator setup key into a live time-based one-time password (TOTP). Paste the key, copy the current code and use it with the service asking you to authenticate. There is no separate app to install or 2famh account to create.

With remembering enabled, your valid keys, optional account names and settings are kept in this browser and loaded when you return.
Refresh the current codes, copy individual codes, work with a batch, switch off remembering or forget every saved key from one place.
Remember on this device is enabled by default. A valid key is saved automatically after code generation. There is no expiry timer: it can remain available after 70 days and beyond, provided the browser retains this site's data.
Saved keys belong to the same browser profile and website address. They do not sync to another browser, phone or domain. Clearing site data, using a private browsing session, or browser storage cleanup can remove them.
Turn remembering off to remove saved keys and use the current tab only. Forget saved keys removes the stored keys and clears the tool. History keeps your 100 most recent remembered accounts, so you can reopen or remove them. Older history entries can be replaced when that limit is reached.
Saved setup keys and optional account names are held in this browser's local storage, without a separate password or encryption added by this tool. Someone with access to this browser profile may be able to use them. Keep remembering enabled only on a device and browser you trust.
Account history holds remembered setup keys and labels. 2famh does not save generated one-time codes or use third-party analytics, advertising scripts or external fonts. The MH Ads Agency promotions are ordinary links; your setup keys are not included in them. The website host may process standard request information to deliver and protect the page.
Most accounts use SHA-1, a six-digit code and a 30-second period. The advanced settings support SHA-256, SHA-512, 6–8 digits and refresh periods of 15–120 seconds. Choose Base32, HEX or Base64 for raw setup keys; TOTP authenticator links supply Base32 keys and their own settings. A TOTP authenticator link supplies its own settings. Your device's time must be accurate.
This tool needs an existing key. It does not recover lost keys, create SMS codes, approve push notifications or bypass an account's security. After loading, the open generator can continue calculating codes without an internet connection.
We built 2famh as a free, practical tool. You can also browse advertising products, messaging setups and digital services on the MH Ads Agency website.
